Lego to Pick Up The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit Licenses [News]

Aw yeah, most intense LEGO news i’ve heard in ages! :D This is a huge licence to get, so many ppl are going to be so happy. Btw, unconfirmed list of sets to be released in June 2012 are as follows:

9469 Gandalf Arrives
9470 Shelob Attacks
9471 Uruk-hai Army
9472 Attack on Weathertop
9473 The Mines of Moria
9474 The Battle of Helm’s Deep
9476 The Orc Forge

Looks like the first wave of sets will be mainly focussed on the Fellowship of the Ring (plus Helm’s Deep), with the second wave later in the year, to coincide with the release of The Hobbit. (I’m guessing Rivendell is going to be a “Hobbit” set, i don’t see how they can leave it out) I for one can’t wait! :)
